Job Summary:


We are seeking a skilled Construction Specialist to join our team at Cameco Corporation. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting with the organization and execution of all underground construction activities, including backfill and concrete placement, bulkhead building, ventilation work, and equipment operation.


Responsibilities:



  • Assist with the organization and execution of underground construction activities
  • Operate various underground mobile equipment
  • Work with a SCBA (self-contained breathing apparatus) when required
  • Collaborate with a diverse team to achieve project goals

Requirements:



  • Minimum Grade 12 diploma, or equivalent
  • One to two years of relevant work experience in an industrial setting
  • Good reading, writing, and communication skills
  • Ability to understand blueprints
  • Excellent safety and attendance record

Assets:



  • Previous underground experience
  • Journeyperson carpenter's ticket

Conditions of Employment:
