Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced First Cook to join our team at Dai Jang Kum Restaurant.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods to the highest standards of quality and presentation.
  • Inspect kitchens and food service areas to ensure cleanliness and organization.
  • Train and develop staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food to maintain high standards of quality and safety.
  • Maintain accurate inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment to optimize kitchen operations.
  • Clean and maintain kitchen and work areas to ensure a safe and healthy environment.
  • Recruit, hire, and manage kitchen staff to ensure a high-performing team.
Requirements
  • 2 years of experience as a cook or in a related role.
  • Permanent employment with a minimum of 30-40 hours per week.
  • Fluency in English as the primary language of communication.
