Abstract Developments is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead our construction projects from inception to completion. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest professional standards.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage project finances through standard project management practices.
- Review preliminary drawings with the Site Superintendent for feedback on cost and design, job scope, schedule, and budget.
- Develop and maintain a detailed project schedule, formulate critical path, and provide updates to sub-trades and project team as required.
- Generate, update, and review monthly cost reports and budget forecasts with the Site Superintendent, providing detailed explanations for variances when applicable.
- Lead trades and consultant meetings, ensuring timely minutes are captured and circulated to relevant parties promptly.
- Maintain current knowledge of applicable building codes, zoning, and safety regulations.
- Personally comply with all company safety standards and drive the safety program implementation at the project level to ensure the safety of the public, visitors, employees, and subcontractors.
- Minimum five (5) years' experience in construction project coordination and/or management with minimum two (2) years of multifamily (condos/townhomes) construction experience.
- Minimum high school diploma; post-secondary education in a related field preferred.
- P.Eng, PMP, E.I.T. and/or GSC considered an asset.
We offer a competitive salary range of $90,000- $130,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications, employer premium-paid extended health benefits, dental and vision coverage, prescription drug coverage, and an employee wellness program.
