This role is situated within a fast-paced food service setting, where efficiency and quality are paramount.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement strategies to meet work schedules effectively.
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff involved in food preparation and portioning.
- Provide training to staff regarding their job responsibilities, as well as sanitation and safety protocols.
- Estimate the necessary ingredients and supplies for meal preparation.
- Ensure that food quality and service standards are consistently met.
- Address and resolve customer complaints or concerns promptly.
- Maintain accurate records of inventory, repairs, sales, and wastage.
- Prepare and submit detailed reports as required.
The Culinary Service Supervisor will oversee a team ranging from 3 to 10 individuals, including:
- Food service counter attendants and food preparers
- Kitchen and food service helpers
- Possession of a Food Safety Certificate is required.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Combination of sitting, standing, and walking throughout the shift.
- Capability to stand for extended periods.
- Must be prepared for physically demanding tasks.
Applicants should have a minimum of 1 year to less than 2 years of relevant experience in a similar role.
Work ScheduleThis position typically requires working between 30 to 40 hours per week.
