About the Job

A.K. Landscaping Services Ltd. is seeking a skilled Landscape Worker to join our team. As a key member of our outdoor workforce, you will be responsible for maintaining the beauty and functionality of our clients' properties.

Key Responsibilities
  • Landscape Construction and Maintenance: Assist with landscape constructions, including planting, pruning, and trimming trees and plants.
  • Groundskeeping: Cut grass, cart and spread topsoil and other materials, lay sod or seed, and water and tend to plants, lawns, and/or gardens.
  • Equipment Operation and Maintenance: Operate and maintain landscape maintenance equipment, including sprayers and dusters.
  • Reporting and Record-Keeping: Write daily basic progress reports.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience: No degree, certificate, or diploma required; experience an asset.
  • Work Environment: Work outdoors in a fast-paced environment with a combination of sitting, standing, walking, and bending, crouching, and kneeling.
  • Physical Demands: Handling heavy loads and physically demanding tasks.
  • Language and Communication: English language proficiency required.
  • Work Schedule: 40 hours per week.
