Splendid Landscape Services Inc Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Landscaping Specialist to join our team at Splendid Landscape Services Inc. As a key member of our outdoor maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the health and appearance of our clients' lawns and gardens.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Water and Tend to Plants: Care for plants, lawns, and gardens to ensure they receive the necessary water and nutrients for optimal growth.
  • Apply Lawn Care Products: Apply fertilizers, fungicides, herbicides, and pesticides to maintain the health and appearance of lawns.
  • Assess Lawn Health: Regularly inspect lawns to identify any issues or problems that may require attention.
  • Direct Crews: Supervise and direct crews who maintain the health and appearance of golf courses and their surrounding landscapes.
  • Examine Trees and Shrubs: Diagnose problems and diseases in trees and shrubs to ensure they receive the necessary care.
  • Plan and Coordinate Plant Growth: Plan and coordinate the growth and use of plants for landscaping, ornamental uses, and other purposes.
  • Plant and Maintain Lawns and Gardens: Plant and maintain private and public lawns and gardens to ensure they meet our high standards.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a related field.
  • Work Environment: Outdoors.
  • Physical Capabilities: Physically demanding.
  • Personal Suitability: Organized, reliable, and attention to detail.
