About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and reliable individual to join our team at Splendid Landscape Services Inc as a Gardening Helper, Landscape. As a key member of our outdoor team, you will be responsible for maintaining the beauty and health of our clients' gardens and landscapes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Weed, prune, and trim trees and plants to ensure a well-manicured appearance.
  • Cut grass to maintain a neat and tidy lawn.
  • Rake and collect refuse to keep our work sites clean and organized.
  • Cart and spread topsoil and other materials to enhance soil quality.
  • Plant bulbs, flowers, shrubs, and trees to add color and vibrancy to our clients' landscapes.
  • Apply fertilizers to promote healthy plant growth.
  • Repair and maintain equipment to ensure efficient and safe working conditions.
  • Water and tend to plants, lawns, and/or gardens to ensure optimal health and appearance.
  • Operate and maintain landscape maintenance equipment to ensure efficient and safe working conditions.
Work Environment and Physical Demands
  • Work outdoors in various weather conditions.
  • Perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting and carrying heavy equipment and materials.
  • Work in a fast-paced environment with repetitive tasks.
Requirements
  • Will train individuals with the right attitude and work ethic.
  • Permanent employment opportunity.
  • English language proficiency.
  • 30-40 hours of work per week.
