Position Overview
We invite applications for a full-time community pathology specialist role.

While all qualified candidates are encouraged to submit their applications, preference will be given to those with fellowship training and/or substantial experience (minimum of 3 years) in areas such as breast pathology, ENT, or other relevant specialties.

You will be part of a dedicated team of five pathologists.

Your responsibilities will encompass a diverse array of community pathology cases sourced from various peripheral hospital sites, with a notable focus on breast, genitourinary, and gastrointestinal cases.

Minimum Qualifications
To be eligible for this position, candidates must possess a Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) degree, a valid license to practice in Ontario, and certification from the Royal College of Physicians (Canada) or an equivalent in Anatomical Pathology.

As a prerequisite for employment, all new hires will be required to obtain and present a satisfactory Criminal Records Check.

About the Organization: The Eastern Ontario Regional Laboratory Association operates numerous regional hospital-based licensed clinical laboratories across the Champlain Local Health Integration Network. Our laboratory team comprises over 725 Medical Laboratory Professionals, 70 Medical/Scientific staff, and 12 Pathology Residents. The organization handles a significant volume of surgical specimens, cytology specimens, hospital autopsies, and forensic autopsies, providing subspecialty consultation services and fellowship programs.
