About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Chef to join our team at Pomeroy Kananaskis Mountain Lodge. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for leading the kitchen and ensuring the highest quality of food and service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods to the highest standard.
  • Supervise kitchen staff and helpers to ensure efficient and effective kitchen operations.
  • Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment to minimize waste and optimize resources.
  • Organize buffets and banquets to meet the needs of our guests.
  • Manage kitchen operations to ensure seamless service and high-quality food.
  • Create new recipes to enhance our menu offerings.
Requirements
  • 1-2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation procedures.
  • Ability to maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment.
