CB Canada is seeking a skilled crisis management professional to offer workplace trauma response and organizational crisis management services on a contract basis.
Key Responsibilities
- Respond promptly to requests for on-site crisis management services, ensuring clinical appropriateness and professionalism tailored to the specific needs of each incident and organizational culture.
- Provide on-site crisis management services, including individual and group interventions, debriefings, and consultations with corporate clients.
- Maintain close communication with crisis management supervisors throughout the service delivery process.
- Accurately document services rendered in compliance with CB Canada standards.
- A Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or a related discipline.
- At least 2 years of experience in workplace crisis management.
- Formal training in trauma response, psychological first aid, and critical incident response (e.g., CISM; NOVA, Psychological First Aid, or similar accredited training).
- Registration or clinical membership with the relevant governing body.
- Professional liability insurance coverage of $2,000,000 or as otherwise determined by CB Canada.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Proficiency in written and verbal French is considered an asset.
- Flexibility and availability to respond after hours, including weekends, as needed.
- Exceptional assessment and crisis management skills, with a strong focus on customer service.
- Proven clinical judgment and intervention skills to assist with traumatic events affecting employees and the workplace.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Outlook).
