About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Pastoral Leader to join our team at Toronto Calvary Cross Church. As a key member of our community, you will play a vital role in guiding and supporting our congregation in their spiritual journeys.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct Worship Services: Lead and participate in various worship services, including sermons, prayers, and hymns.
  • Administer Rites and Ceremonies: Perform baptisms, weddings, funerals, and other sacred rites with dignity and compassion.
  • Provide Spiritual Guidance: Offer counsel and support to individuals and families, helping them navigate life's challenges and triumphs.
  • Lead Educational Programs: Develop and implement engaging educational programs for children and adults, fostering spiritual growth and development.
  • Build Community: Foster a sense of belonging and connection among our congregation, promoting unity and cooperation.
  • Collaborate with Staff: Work closely with our pastoral team to ensure seamless communication and coordination of church activities.
Requirements
  • Education: A degree in theology, divinity, or a related field is required.
  • Experience: A minimum of 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a pastoral role is preferred.
  • Skills: Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills are essential.
