General Overview.....

The primary role will involve assisting the engineering and maintenance supervisor with all tasks related to building upkeep, preventive measures, documentation, and maintenance of both equipment and systems.

This position entails....

  • Supporting the supervisor in all maintenance, preventive, servicing, and documentation activities related to equipment and systems to minimize downtime;
  • Responding promptly to building maintenance requests;
  • Assisting other trades as necessary;
  • Ensuring the overall maintenance of the facility;
  • Maintaining a clean, efficient, and safe working environment;
  • Completing various monitoring and control reports as required;
  • Carrying out additional tasks and responsibilities as assigned by management.

Education/Experience

  • Successfully completed the probation period at FedEx Supply Chain;
  • Exemplary employee record, including performance and health & safety in the current role (no disciplinary actions or absenteeism issues);
  • Basic understanding of plumbing and general industrial maintenance;
  • Capability to maintain and repair building equipment;
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to customer service;
  • Ability to work in a computerized setting;
  • Bilingual in oral and written communication;
  • Proficient in operating rolling stock;
  • Able to work at heights and adapt to varying temperature conditions.

Physical/Cognitive Requirements
