Responsibilities:
  • Enhance and sustain business relationships with existing clients
  • Identify potential clients and engage with them
  • Assess client needs and resources, recommend suitable products and services, and negotiate pricing or terms of sale
  • Provide insights for product design when customization is necessary
  • Analyze maintenance costs for equipment or services
  • Prepare and manage sales contracts while maintaining a client database
  • Follow up with clients post-sale to address concerns and ensure satisfaction
  • Assist in resolving technical issues related to customer equipment
  • Continuously develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of products and services to effectively communicate their features to clients
  • Formulate, execute, and evaluate sales strategies to meet business goals
  • Monitor market conditions and competitor activities, staying informed about emerging trends
  • Provide training on equipment usage and maintenance
  • May oversee the activities of other sales personnel and technical staff
Qualifications:
  • A diploma or degree in a relevant field is typically required
  • A minimum of 2 years' experience in industrial machinery sales
  • Proficiency in English is advantageous
  • A valid driver's license and a clean driving record may be necessary
Skills:

  • Bilingual proficiency in French and English is a plus
  • In-depth knowledge of construction equipment is essential
