Key Responsibilities:
As a Quality Enhancement Program Manager, you will:
  1. Design, execute, and oversee projects aimed at improving the quality of care and services in alignment with provincial health priorities.
  2. Utilize project management methodologies to initiate, plan, execute, monitor, and close quality improvement projects.
  3. Develop comprehensive project plans and ensure timely execution, providing regular updates throughout the project lifecycle.
  4. Lead and coordinate project teams, ensuring effective task performance and successful project outcomes.
  5. Continuously assess project plans and progress to meet established goals, timelines, and sustainability criteria.
  6. Identify and implement effective processes and performance indicators, addressing any risks or barriers to project success.
  7. Ensure that all projects adhere to patient safety and accreditation standards.
  8. Provide coaching and support to health service providers, fostering a culture of continuous improvement through knowledge transfer.
  9. Collaborate with dynamic teams on various quality improvement initiatives and the implementation of new care pathways.

Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will possess:
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in project management within a healthcare setting, specifically in quality improvement or large-scale change initiatives.
  • At least 2 years of experience in leading organizational change management efforts.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience with quality improvement methodologies and tools.
  • A post-secondary degree in a relevant field such as health, business, or public administration.
  • Formal training in organizational change initiatives and quality improvement methodologies is preferred.
  • Professional certification in project management is an asset.
  • Strong leadership capabilities and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.

Additional Requirements:
Candidates must be able to work in a typical office environment and may be required to travel to various healthcare facilities. A valid driver's license is necessary for this role.
