About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Instrument Maintenance Specialist to join our team at Flow Water Inc. as a Mechanical Systems Technician. As an Equipment Maintenance Professional, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our instruments and systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inspect and Maintain Instruments and Systems: Conduct regular inspections to identify potential issues and perform maintenance tasks to prevent downtime.
  • Repair and Adjust System Components: Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical components to ensure optimal system performance.
  • Complete Test and Maintenance Reports: Document maintenance activities and test results to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Calibrate Components and Instruments: Perform calibration tasks to ensure accurate readings and optimal system performance.
  • Logical Approach for Troubleshooting: Apply logical thinking to identify and resolve complex system issues.
  • Determine Testing and Maintenance Procedures: Develop and implement testing and maintenance procedures to ensure optimal system performance.
  • Perform Scheduled Preventive Maintenance Work: Conduct regular maintenance tasks to prevent equipment failure and downtime.
Requirements
  • Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a related field.
  • Work Setting: Willing to relocate and relocate costs covered by employer.
  • Transportation/Travel Information: Valid driver's license and willingness to travel, with travel expenses paid by employer.
