About the Role:

Piramal Group is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Maintenance Technician I to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities and equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Preventative Maintenance: Perform daily, weekly, and monthly preventative maintenance procedures to maintain equipment, facilities, heating/cooling systems, pumps, compressors, and other related systems.
  • Equipment Installation and Service: Install, modify, service, and dismantle mechanical equipment with assistance from a more senior technician.
  • Pump Maintenance: Dismantle and fully service diaphragm pumps.
  • Instrumentation Calibration: Perform calibration preventative maintenance on plant instrumentation.
  • Breakdown Resolution: Identify, resolve, and communicate system/equipment breakdowns with assistance from a more senior technician.
  • Shop Operations: Operate shop equipment as required.
  • General Maintenance: Perform general maintenance including cleaning, emergency snow removal, painting, lighting, pipe cleaning, and housekeeping.
  • Training and Development: Actively train on SOPs, Technical Manuals, and safety procedures as required.
  • Work Area Maintenance: Maintain cleanliness and order of work area to ensure cGMP and safety compliance.
  • Team Representation: Act as a representative of the Maintenance group in dealing with cross-functional team/task forces on issues such as validation, process optimization, and product/process interruptions.
  • Equipment Knowledge: Understanding of equipment, location, and site layout.
  • System Knowledge: Working knowledge of DCS, Bailey system, and ADT security.
  • Documentation: Complete documentation such as maintenance logs, manuals, and inventory control records as per cGMP guidelines.
  • Team Collaboration: Collaborate with, and contribute to, the Maintenance group.
