Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Device Reprocessing Specialist to join our team at Dentalcorp. As a Medical Device Reprocessing Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the cleanliness and sterilization of surgical instruments and equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sort, clean, and process surgical instruments to ensure they are in good working condition.
- Clean, assemble, and sterilize surgical kits for multiple procedures.
- Perform high-temperature steam sterilization and other forms of sterilization to ensure instruments are properly sanitized.
- Utilize knowledge of multiple instruments to assemble surgical trays for multiple procedures for surgeons.
- Perform daily biological tests for multiple processors and maintain accurate logs.
- Inventory control of equipment and supplies to ensure the clinic runs effectively.
- Put away supplies that arrive at the clinic.
- Additional duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Minimum completion of Medical Device Reprocessing certificate required.
- Knowledge of instrument technology and high-temperature steam sterilization.
- Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently and understand verbal work orders.
- Basic computer knowledge.
- Detail-oriented and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Effective organization and communication skills.
- Punctual and good attendance.
- Ability to travel between offices an asset.
