Clinical Therapist, Community Mental Health and Substance Use Liaison

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Clinical Therapist to join our team at Fraser Health Authority. As a Clinical Therapist, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality mental health and substance use services to our clients.
Key Responsibilities- Assess and determine referral needs for clients, and liaise with community resources to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Formulate and implement treatment plans in collaboration with Mental Health, Substance Use, and Ministry of Social Development teams.
- Provide comprehensive case consultation and follow-up support to clients, families, and community agencies.
- Develop, coordinate, and deliver in-services, presentations, and training to staff on mental health and substance use topics.
- Participate in the development and evaluation of the MSD/MH&SU Liaison Program, ensuring effective collaboration and service delivery.
- Perform other related duties as assigned, including crisis intervention and outreach as required.
- Master's degree in Social Work, Clinical Counselling, or a relevant health-related discipline.
- Two (2) years' recent, related experience in a community or hospital psychiatric setting, or in a rapid response crisis stabilization function, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
- Eligible for registration with a professional association.
- Valid B.C. Driver's license and access to own vehicle with appropriate business coverage.
