About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Healthcare Support Worker to join our team at 1011166 BC Ltd. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and support in a nursing home setting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Personal Care: Assist patients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Medical Support: Take patients' vital signs, administer first aid, and provide basic medical care as needed.
  • Housekeeping: Maintain patients' rooms and common areas, ensuring a clean and safe environment.
  • Companionship: Engage with patients through conversation, activities, and social interactions to promote mental and emotional well-being.
  • Documentation: Accurately record patient information, including medical history, treatment plans, and progress notes.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: Previous experience in a healthcare setting is an asset.
  • Certifications: First Aid Certificate.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs), and perform repetitive tasks.
