About the Role

The Next Level Group is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sales and Service Operations Manager to join our team. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for providing strategic direction and oversight to our Service and Parts Department.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Service Department:
    • Oversee the daily operations of the service department, ensuring efficient and effective delivery of services to our customers.
    • Act as the primary point of contact for customers, providing estimates and addressing their concerns or issues in a timely and professional manner.
    • Prioritize and assign work orders to technicians, ensuring that all tasks are completed to the highest standard.
    • Oversee and assist the service clerk in the invoicing process, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
    • Play an active role in the recovery of accounts receivable related to service invoices.
    • Supervise staff and maintain a safe and productive work environment.
    • Hire and train staff, ensuring that they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their roles effectively.
    • Provide regular feedback and coaching to employees, helping them to improve their performance and achieve their goals.
  • Parts Department:
    • Oversee the daily operations of the parts department, ensuring that all aspects of the business are running smoothly and efficiently.
    • Ensure proper staffing and coordinate scheduling to meet the needs of our customers.
    • Monitor parts inventory levels and implement solutions to move aging inventory, reducing waste and improving profitability.
    • Lead the deployment of quarterly specials program with the Parts team, driving sales and revenue growth.
    • Work with the team to find solutions for machine down situations where parts are not readily available.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of related work experience, preferably in a sales and service environment.
  • Strong background in service and the ability to lead and organize a service team.
  • Working knowledge of computers and Microsoft software.
  • Sound equipment and mechanical knowledge is an asset.
  • Ability to work in an environment of changing priorities.
  • Ability to work 40+ hours per week, with occasional evening and weekend work.
  • Ability and willingness to travel.
  • Valid driver's license.
