Job Summary:

The Regional Director of Community Relations is a key leadership position responsible for driving sales and revenue growth for our Home Health and Hospice services. This role will lead the sales team in achieving overall and individual sales objectives, collaborate with senior leadership to develop and implement local sales plans, and ensure exceptional customer service and fulfillment of our company promises.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and Execute Sales Strategy: Drive the company's product positioning strategy and execution through oversight of the overall marketing message, ensuring alignment with market analysis and referral source goals.
  2. Lead and Develop Sales Team: Manage, mentor, coach, and discipline the sales and customer relations staff to accomplish referral and financial goals, supporting high-quality clinical outcomes and patient satisfaction.
  3. Market Analysis and Planning: Participate in the design and implementation of sales and marketing plans for Home Health and Hospice offerings, reflecting market analysis and referral source goals.
  4. Census Development: Implement external and internal sales, marketing, and customer relations programs to develop census through existing and new accounts.
  5. Product and Service Development: Collaborate with senior leadership to identify and recommend new product/service/niche markets and offerings, as well as current product/service enhancements.
  6. Staff Performance and Development: Create opportunities for continuous improvement of staff performance, development, and morale through fair and accurate performance evaluations on time, per company policy.
  7. Coaching and Mentoring: Provide daily coaching and mentoring to Community Liaison/Patient Advocates to increase organizational performance.
  8. Team Support: Coordinate routine assistance, support, and guidance to the community liaison team.
  9. Strategic Planning: Develop strategies for the team, help them reach their goals, and increase census and monthly intake.
  10. Patient Retention: Develop meetings to enhance and implement the Patient retention program, including admission follow-up calls and a program for previous patients (21 days).

Requirements:

  1. Bachelor's degree related to communication, commercial arts, or marketing preferred.
  2. Strong interpersonal skills, including influence, collaboration, motivation, follow-through, negotiation, and relationship-building.
  3. Superior skills in common marketing and production tools, including Salesforce.
  4. Experience managing and motivating team members.
