Key Responsibilities- Operate and Maintain Vehicles: Safely operate and maintain company vehicles, including automobiles, vans, and light trucks, to transport goods and products.
- Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring timely and efficient delivery of products, and resolving any issues that may arise.
- Inventory Management: Maintain accurate records of items received and delivered, and ensure that inventory is properly stocked and managed.
- Load and Unload Goods: Load and unload goods from vehicles, ensuring that products are properly secured and handled with care.
- Vehicle Maintenance: Perform pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections of vehicles, and ensure that all aspects of vehicle maintenance are overseen.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of vehicle mileage, fuel costs, and any issues that may arise during transportation.
- Certifications and Licenses: Possess a valid Air Brakes Endorsement and a Class 5/5F/G Licence (cars, small trucks, and other 2-axle vehicles).
- Physical Demands: Be able to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs) and work in a physically demanding environment.
- Attention to Detail: Possess strong attention to detail, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
This is a permanent position with a regular schedule of 8 hours per week. The work language is English, and parking is available on site.
