Job Title: Welding Machine Operator

We are seeking a skilled Welding Machine Operator to join our team at Advance Trucking Solutions Inc.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for operating manual or semi-automatic welding equipment to fabricate or repair metal parts and products. The ideal candidate will have excellent attention to detail, manual dexterity, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate manual or semi-automatic welding equipment to fabricate or repair metal parts and products
  • Examine welds and ensure that they meet standards and/or specifications
  • Operate manual or semi-automatic flame-cutting equipment
  • Operate brakes, shears and other metal shaping, straightening and bending machines
  • Maintain and perform minor repairs on welding, brazing and soldering equipment
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Basic security clearance
  • Excellent oral communication skills
  • Flexibility and ability to work in a team environment
  • Ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs)
