At Advance Trucking Solutions Inc., we are seeking a skilled Welding Machine Operator to join our team. As a key member of our fabrication department, you will be responsible for operating manual or semi-automatic welding equipment to fabricate or repair metal parts and products.

Responsibilities:
  • Interpret welding process specifications and operate manual or semi-automatic welding equipment to fabricate or repair metal parts and products.
  • Read and interpret welding blueprints, drawings specifications, manuals and processes to ensure accurate and efficient production.
  • Examine welds and ensure that they meet standards and/or specifications.
  • Operate manual or semi-automatic flame-cutting equipment and other metal shaping, straightening and bending machines.
  • Maintain and perform minor repairs on welding, brazing and soldering equipment.
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Will train.
  • Basic security clearance.
Work Environment:

The work site environment is fast-paced, with repetitive tasks and handling of heavy loads. The physical demands of the job include standing for extended periods, manual dexterity, and attention to detail.

Personal Suitability:
  • Excellent oral communication skills.
  • Flexibility and ability to work in a team environment.
  • Organized and punctual with a strong work ethic.

English.

Hours:

30 hours per week.
