Job Title: Welding Machine Operator

At TECHPRO INDUSTRIES INC., we are seeking a skilled Welding Machine Operator to join our team. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for operating manual or semi-automatic welding equipment to fabricate or repair metal parts and products.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Interpret welding process specifications and operate manual or semi-automatic welding equipment to fabricate or repair metal parts and products.
  • Read and interpret welding blueprints, drawings specifications, manuals, and processes to ensure accurate and efficient production.
  • Operate manual or semi-automatic flame-cutting equipment to cut and shape metal parts.
  • Computer-aided design (CAD) skills to create and modify designs for metal parts and products.
  • Operate brakes, shears, and other metal shaping, straightening, and bending machines to shape and form metal parts.
  • Fabricate and repair metal parts and products using welding, brazing, and soldering techniques.
  • Start up, shut down, adjust, and monitor robotic welding production lines to ensure efficient and accurate production.
  • Maintain and perform minor repairs on welding, brazing, and soldering equipment to ensure optimal performance.
Work Environment:

As a Welding Machine Operator, you will work in a fast-paced industrial environment with repetitive tasks and physically demanding conditions. You will be required to work in confined spaces and be exposed to noisy conditions.

Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in welding or a related field.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with repetitive tasks and physically demanding conditions.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret welding blueprints, drawings specifications, manuals, and processes.
