Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Governance Manager to join our team. As a critical member of our organization, you will be responsible for developing and implementing data governance strategies, policies, and procedures that align with our business objectives and regulatory requirements.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate data governance controls and policies into key organizational processes. Your expertise will be essential in ensuring the adoption of changes, monitoring adoption, utilization, and proficiency.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and Implement Strategies: Formulate and roll-out data governance strategies, policies, standards, and procedures, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and requirements.
  • Compliance and Monitoring: Oversee the development, review, and monitoring of compliance with data governance processes, and lead investigations and reporting of any violations.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with cross-functional teams, including global data offices, privacy, and information security, to integrate data governance controls and policies into key organizational processes.
  • Training and Communication: Design and deliver training programs and workshops, and handle key communications to enhance data governance knowledge and practices across the organization.
  • Change Management: Facilitate change management activities to ensure the adoption of changes, and implement measurement systems to monitor adoption, utilization, and proficiency.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree: In Information Technology, Data Management, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Experience: 5+ years of proven experience in developing and implementing data governance and risk management practices at an enterprise level.
  • Compliance: Demonstrated experience in compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Skills: Knowledge of workshop facilitation, change management methodologies, tools, program and project management, and adult education.
  • Soft Skills: Excellence in influencing, communication, problem-solving, project management, and presentation skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • CDMP Certification: Knowledge of, or familiarity with, data literacy, data management and governance, data governance policies and standards.
Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $110,000 to $158,000 per year, based on individualized factors. In addition to base salary, salaried employees are eligible for annual discretionary bonuses, profit-sharing, and long-term incentives in the form of Restricted Stock Units and/or Stock Options.
