Your Role

In this position, you will be responsible for overseeing inventory precision, conducting thorough investigations, performing root cause analysis of inventory discrepancies, and managing periodic physical inventory counts.

Your Responsibilities

  • Execute warehouse operations utilizing equipment such as Forklifts and Raymond Reach trucks.
  • Investigate and determine the underlying causes of inventory discrepancies while managing physical inventory counts efficiently.
  • Conduct physical inventory processes and cycle counts.
  • Oversee the Over Short & Damage (OS&D) program.
  • Process claims and manage warehouse transfers.
  • Inspect and rectify Inventory Diagnostics.
  • Facilitate client exit and deletion procedures.
  • Input and release count plans within the Warehouse Management System.
  • Provide picking support for stock shortages, incorrect items, and damaged goods identified during processing.
  • Balance transactions for over and under location discrepancies within the Warehouse Management System.
  • Identify nonconformities and maintain article records.
  • Adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) as necessary to meet quality and regulatory standards set by Health Canada and other relevant authorities.

Your Skills and Experiences

  • A college diploma or university degree in business is preferred.
  • At least 2 years of experience in inventory control within the freight forwarding, supply chain, or logistics sectors is preferred.
  • Proficient knowledge of SAP is essential.
  • Experience with Material Handling Equipment (Forklift) is advantageous.
  • Advanced computer skills, particularly in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel).
  • Familiarity with various production and quality systems (GMP, ISO) is a plus.
