Position Overview: The Mobile Game Developer role involves the design, development, and maintenance of mobile gaming applications across various platforms, including iOS and Android. This position requires collaboration with diverse teams, such as game designers, artists, and quality assurance testers, to create captivating and immersive gaming experiences.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Application Development: Design, develop, and launch mobile game applications from initial concept to final release.
  • Code Quality: Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code using programming languages like C#, C++, or Java, tailored to the platform.
  • Game Mechanics: Create and implement engaging game mechanics, gameplay systems, and interactive features.
  • Platform Optimization: Ensure games are optimized for various mobile platforms (iOS, Android) and devices with differing screen sizes and hardware capabilities.
  • Debugging: Identify and resolve platform-specific issues and performance bottlenecks.
  • Asset Integration: Integrate artwork, 2D/3D graphics, animations, and audio elements into the game engine.
  • Performance Optimization: Optimize assets for memory and performance constraints.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with game designers to understand and implement gameplay concepts and features.
  • Artistic Coordination: Collaborate with artists and animators to integrate assets and maintain the game's visual style.
  • Quality Assurance: Coordinate with QA testers to identify and rectify bugs and gameplay issues.
  • Performance Profiling: Profile and optimize game performance, including frame rate, loading times, and memory usage.
  • Version Control: Utilize version control systems (e.g., Git) to manage source code and collaborate with team members.
  • Documentation: Maintain clear and organized documentation for code, processes, and project-related information.
  • Industry Awareness: Stay updated with the latest trends, technologies, and tools in mobile gaming.
  • Continuous Learning: Continuously enhance skills in game development and programming languages.
Qualifications and Skills:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as C#, C++, or Java.
  • Strong understanding of mobile platforms (iOS, Android) and development tools (e.g., Xcode, Android Studio).
  • Experience with game engines like Unity3D or Unreal Engine.
  • Familiarity with 2D/3D graphics, physics, and audio systems in games.
  • Solid problem-solving and debugging skills.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  • A passion for gaming and creativity in designing interactive experiences.
Preferred Additional Skills:
  • Experience with augmented reality (AR) or virtual reality (VR) game development.
  • Knowledge of shader programming.
  • Familiarity with multiplayer and online gaming concepts.
  • Previous experience with game monetization strategies, such as in-app purchases and advertisements.
