Position Overview

As a Telecommunications Equipment Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the optimal performance of cellular communication systems. Your expertise will contribute to maintaining high standards of service and reliability.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inspection and Testing: Conduct thorough inspections and tests on cable signals and related equipment to ensure functionality.
  • Diagnostics: Identify and troubleshoot equipment faults, making necessary adjustments, replacements, or repairs to telecommunications devices.
  • Installation and Maintenance: Efficiently install, organize, remove, and maintain telephone equipment, wiring, and related hardware.
  • Repairs: Address defective telephone equipment through repair or replacement as needed.
  • Analysis: Analyze test results and make adjustments or repairs to switching systems, networks, and associated software.
  • Documentation: Complete and maintain detailed test and service reports to track work performed.
  • Troubleshooting: Determine the nature, cause, and location of issues to facilitate effective resolutions.
Qualifications
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate is required.
  • Experience: A minimum of 1 year to less than 2 years in a similar role.
  • Employment Type: Permanent position.
  • Language: Proficiency in English is necessary.
  • Work Hours: Full-time position requiring 35 hours per week.
