Position Overview

As a Telecommunications Equipment Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the functionality and reliability of mobile communication systems. Your expertise will be essential in maintaining high standards of service and performance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inspection and Testing: Conduct thorough inspections and tests on cable signals and related equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Fault Diagnosis: Identify and troubleshoot equipment malfunctions, making necessary adjustments, replacements, or repairs to telecommunications devices.
  • Installation and Maintenance: Install, configure, and maintain telephone systems, wiring, and associated hardware to meet operational requirements.
  • Repairs: Address and rectify any defective telephone equipment to maintain service continuity.
  • Analysis: Analyze test outcomes and make adjustments or repairs to switching systems, networks, and related software.
  • Documentation: Complete and maintain comprehensive test and service reports to track performance and issues.
  • Troubleshooting: Determine the nature, cause, and location of any technical issues that arise.
Qualifications
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: A minimum of 1 year and up to 2 years of relevant experience in telecommunications.
  • Employment Type: Permanent position.
  • Language Requirement: Proficiency in English.
  • Work Hours: 35 hours per week.
