About the Team You Will Join
The Business Intelligence Services at IATA serve as the cornerstone for data management and global BI services within the aviation sector. Our team consists of industry experts, data management professionals, and seasoned data scientists located in Montreal and Geneva. The role of Manager, User Feed Delivery will oversee the comprehensive feed delivery process to DDS clients, including contract execution, feed setup, and ongoing monitoring for both regular and ad-hoc deliveries. This position is part of the Business Intelligence Delivery unit and reports directly to the Senior Manager of DDS Operations.
Your Daily Responsibilities
- Evaluate contracts to ensure feed layout and delivery specifications align with system capabilities.
- Implement contracts and configure feeds for both standard and customized deliveries, including ongoing and ad-hoc requests.
- Monitor feed deliveries and collaborate with vendors and the IATA iinet team to address any issues in feed generation and delivery.
- Respond to user inquiries regarding feed delivery and re-delivery, tackle data quality challenges, identify root causes, and coordinate with business teams or vendors for resolution.
- Analyze data from various sources, pinpoint discrepancies, and work with data providers to rectify issues.
- Collaborate with vendors to explore enhancements in feed development and delivery methods, and address any operational challenges in current implementations.
- Coordinate with IATA partners regarding feed deliveries and user inquiries as necessary.
Qualifications We Seek
- A degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering.
- Strong technical expertise in Cloud Computing, AWS infrastructure, and Database Management.
- Over 5 years of experience in solution design and architecture.
- Preferred knowledge in business intelligence and reporting tools (e.g., MS Power BI), integration, and systems architecture.
- Proven track record of collaborating with business stakeholders and subject matter experts to document, design, develop, and deliver high-quality data and analytics solutions.
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex issues.
- Fluent in English, with strong reading, writing, and speaking abilities.
- A collaborative team player with a strong sense of ownership.
- Able to thrive under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
