Position Overview:

Seascape Advisory Inc is seeking a dedicated Computer Network Technician to join our team. This role is crucial for ensuring the smooth operation of our network systems.

Qualifications:
  • Educational Background: Completion of College or CEGEP
  • Professional Experience: 1-2 years in a related field
Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee and resolve issues related to Local Area Networks (LANs), Wide Area Networks (WANs), mainframe systems, and individual computer workstations.
  • Install and configure computer hardware, networking applications, and operating systems.
  • Offer technical support and solutions to network users experiencing difficulties.
  • Establish and enforce security protocols for data integrity, software applications, and hardware components.
  • Manage network start-up and shut-down processes, maintain control documentation, and execute data backups.
  • Set up local networks and facilitate Internet connectivity.
  • Utilize network monitoring tools to enhance server performance and reliability.
Community Engagement Initiatives:
  • Assist in recruiting individuals affected by conflicts or natural disasters.
  • Foster and sustain partnerships with indigenous communities and local businesses.
  • Implement inclusive hiring practices to support underrepresented groups.
