At Seascape Advisory Inc, we are seeking a skilled Computer Network Systems Administrator to join our team. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and administering local area networks (LANs), wide area networks (WANs), mainframe networks, and computer workstations and peripheral equipment.

The ideal candidate will have experience with computer hardware, networking software, and operating system software. You will evaluate and install new equipment, provide problem-solving services to network users, and implement data, software, and hardware security procedures.

In addition to your technical skills, you will also be responsible for performing routine network start up and close down, maintaining control records, and performing data backups and disaster recovery operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain, troubleshoot, and administer LANs, WANs, mainframe networks, and computer workstations and peripheral equipment
  • Evaluate and install computer hardware, networking software, and operating system software
  • Provide problem-solving services to network users
  • Implement data, software, and hardware security procedures
  • Perform routine network start up and close down and maintain control records
  • Perform data backups and disaster recovery operations

Requirements:

  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field
  • Strong technical skills, including experience with computer hardware, networking software, and operating system software
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
