Computer Network Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Computer Network Specialist to join our team at Seascape Advisory Inc. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and administering local area networks (LANs), wide area networks (WANs), mainframe networks, and computer workstations and peripheral equipment.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in computer hardware, networking software, and operating system software. You will evaluate and install new equipment, provide problem-solving services to network users, and implement data, software, and hardware security procedures.
In addition to your technical expertise, you will also be responsible for performing routine network start up and close down, maintaining control records, and performing data backups and disaster recovery operations.
As a Network Infrastructure Technician, you will set up local area networks and connections to the Internet, implement network traffic and security monitoring software, and optimize server performance.
