We are seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist II to join our Primary Care team in Prince George. As a key member of our interprofessional team, you will work collaboratively to provide person-centered care to patients and their families.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct initial and ongoing assessments to develop and implement effective treatment plans
- Provide competent, safe, and ethical care to patients in various settings, including physician practices, homes, facilities, and communities
- Collaborate with the interprofessional team to develop and implement a plan of care that meets the needs of patients and their families
- Apply the principles of evidence-informed practice to achieve effective outcomes related to patient participation in valued activities
- Graduate of a recognized Occupational Therapy program
- Registered with the College of Occupational Therapists of British Columbia
- Ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and the interprofessional team
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of an interprofessional team
- Ability to integrate and evaluate pertinent data to problem-solve and make decisions effectively
