Occupational Therapist II

We are seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist II to join our Primary Care team in Prince George. As a key member of our interprofessional team, you will work collaboratively to provide person-centered care to patients and their families.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct initial and ongoing assessments to identify patient needs and develop treatment plans
- Provide competent, safe, and ethical care to patients in various settings, including physician practices, homes, facilities, and communities
- Collaborate with the interprofessional team to develop and implement care plans that promote patient participation in valued activities
- Apply evidence-informed practice to achieve effective outcomes related to patient participation
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the public, as well as with physicians and members of the interdisciplinary team
- Graduate of a recognized Occupational Therapy program
- Registered with the College of Occupational Therapists of British Columbia
- Ability to teach both one-on-one and in groups
- Knowledge of person-centered care principles and practices
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
