About the Role

Ambient Mechanical Ltd. is seeking a skilled Estimator to join our team. As an Estimator, you will play a crucial role in preparing accurate estimates of labour and material costs for our construction projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Estimate Preparation: Prepare detailed estimates of labour and material costs for construction projects, including preparation of pre-qualification submissions and bid documents.
  • Project Coordination: Liaise with engineers, architects, owners, contractors, and subcontractors to ensure accurate estimates and timely project delivery.
  • Cost Management: Monitor and adjust contract expenditures to ensure projects are delivered within budget.
  • Supply Chain Management: Maintain a directory of suppliers and trade contractors to ensure efficient procurement processes.
  • Communication: Provide clear and concise estimates, reports, and bid documents to clients and stakeholders.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in construction estimating or a related field.
  • Skills: Proficient in estimating software, MS Excel, MS Project, and AutoCAD.
  • Language: Fluency in English.
