Cybercrime Investigator

We are seeking a highly skilled Cybercrime Investigator to join our team at Scotiabank. As a Cybercrime Investigator, you will be responsible for conducting digital forensic investigations and analyzing electronic evidence to support business operations and mitigate risks.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct thorough digital forensic investigations to identify and analyze electronic evidence, including computers, mobile devices, and other digital storage media.
- Develop and implement strategies to collect, preserve, and analyze electronic evidence in a manner that maintains its integrity and admissibility in court.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate cybersecurity risks and threats to Scotiabank's systems and data.
- Provide expert testimony and support in court proceedings related to digital forensic investigations.
- Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in digital forensics and cybersecurity to ensure the team's expertise remains current and effective.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in digital forensics, cybersecurity, or a related field.
- Professional certifications in digital forensics or cybersecurity, such as CCE, EnCE, or CISSP.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make sound judgments.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines.
