Cybercrime Investigator

We are seeking a highly skilled Cybercrime Investigator to join our team at Scotiabank. As a Cybercrime Investigator, you will be responsible for conducting digital forensic investigations and analyzing electronic evidence to support administrative actions and criminal prosecutions.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct thorough digital forensic examinations of computers, mobile devices, and other electronic media to identify and recover relevant evidence.
- Analyze electronic evidence, including emails, documents, and other digital data, to support investigations and prosecutions.
- Develop and implement strategies to identify and mitigate cyber threats and vulnerabilities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective communication and coordination of investigative efforts.
- Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in digital forensics and cybersecurity to ensure the highest level of expertise.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in digital forensics, cybersecurity, or a related field.
- Professional certifications in digital forensics or cybersecurity, such as CCE, EnCE, or CISSP, are highly desirable.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make sound judgments.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines.
