Cybercrime Investigator

We are seeking a highly skilled Cybercrime Investigator to join our team at Scotiabank. As a key member of our cybersecurity team, you will be responsible for conducting digital forensic investigations, analyzing evidence, and providing expert testimony in court.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct thorough digital forensic examinations of computers, mobile devices, and other digital evidence to identify and analyze potential security threats.
- Develop and implement strategies to prevent and respond to cyber threats, ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of Scotiabank's systems and data.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate security risks, and provide expert advice on cybersecurity best practices.
- Stay up-to-date with emerging threats and technologies, and develop and maintain expertise in digital forensics, incident response, and cybersecurity.
- Develop and implement processes to ensure the integrity and authenticity of digital evidence, and provide expert testimony in court as required.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in digital forensics, cybersecurity, or a related field.
- Professional certifications in digital forensics, cybersecurity, or a related field (e.g. CCE, EnCE, GIAC, CISSP).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make sound judgments.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines.
