Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve our organizational goals
- Lead and manage a team of seasonal staff and volunteers to create a rich and supportive community practice environment
- Serve as the primary liaison between our Centre and the local Shambhala community, as well as the general public
- Collaborate with our Head of Finance and Management Team to ensure the financial well-being of the Centre
- Build and maintain relationships with organizations, foundations, and other stakeholders to support our mission
- Proven leadership experience in a similar role or industry
- Strong financial management skills, including budgeting and financial analysis
- Excellent written and spoken communication skills, including the ability to use electronic media effectively
- Experience in project management, event planning, and team leadership
- Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team and stakeholders
Dorje Denma Ling is a Shambhala Centre dedicated to creating a society based on compassion and kindness. We are guided by the Shambhala, Kagyu, and Nyingma teachings and strive to practice, study, work, and live in a way that benefits all sentient beings and our planet.
