About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at SUBWAY-CARDSTON. As a Food Service Supervisor, you will be responsible for leading a team of food service staff and ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and high-quality food.

Key Responsibilities
  • Team Leadership: Supervise and co-ordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food, train staff in job duties, sanitation and safety procedures, and establish methods to meet work schedules.
  • Quality Control: Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, maintain records of stock, repairs, sales and wastage, and prepare and submit reports.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service, respond to customer complaints, and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Inventory Management: Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation, manage inventory levels, and ensure that stock is ordered and received in a timely manner.
  • Communication: Communicate effectively with staff, management, and customers, and maintain a positive and professional attitude.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service establishment.
  • Skills: Flexibility, team player, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
