About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Carriage Lane Market. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of our food service operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Supervision
    • Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food
    • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures
  • Operations Management
    • Establish methods to meet work schedules
    • Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation
    • Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards
  • Administrative Tasks
    • Prepare budget and cost estimates
    • Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage
    • Prepare and submit reports
  • Customer Service
    • Address customers' complaints or concerns
  • Culinary Expertise
    • Maintain knowledge of the establishment's culinary genres
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service supervisory role
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation procedures
