Accounting Technician Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounting Technician to join our team at IDM Professional Corporation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Calculate fixed assets and depreciation, ensuring accurate financial records.
  • Maintain general ledgers and financial statements, providing a clear picture of our company's financial health.
  • Post journal entries, reconcile accounts, and prepare trial balances to ensure financial accuracy.
  • Prepare tax returns, financial reports, and other statistical data to support business decisions.
  • Utilize accounting software, such as Caseware/Caseview, MS Excel, and Quick Books, to manage financial data and tasks.
Requirements:
  • 2 years of experience in accounting or a related field.
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to work under pressure.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
