About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Multimedia Designer to join our team at Fields of Harvest Church (FOHC). As a Multimedia Designer, you will play a crucial role in creating engaging visual content for our communications materials.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Supervision
    • Supervise and guide other graphic designers and graphic arts technicians to ensure high-quality output.
  • Project Planning and Estimation
    • Estimate the time required to complete graphic designs and illustrations, ensuring timely delivery of projects.
  • Content Creation
    • Develop and produce realistic or representational sketches and final illustrations that meet our communications needs.
    • Consult with clients to determine the nature and content of illustrations, ensuring alignment with our objectives.
  • Production Coordination
    • Coordinate all aspects of production for print, audio-visual, or electronic materials, ensuring seamless execution.
    • Coordinate sub-contracting with external vendors, as needed.
  • Client Collaboration
    • Consult with clients to establish the overall look, graphic elements, and content of communications materials, ensuring client satisfaction.
    • Determine the most suitable medium and vehicle for communication, based on the desired visual effect.
  • Graphic Design and Development
    • Develop the graphic elements that meet our objectives, using existing photo and illustration banks, and typography guides.
    • Prepare sketches, layouts, and graphic elements, ensuring high-quality output.

  • Software Proficiency
    • Adobe Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.)
    • MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
    • HTML and XHTML
  • Operating Systems
    • MS Windows
    • MAC
