About the Role

Fields of Harvest Church (FOHC) is seeking a highly skilled Multimedia Designer to join our team. As a Multimedia Designer, you will be responsible for creating engaging visual content for our communications materials, including print, audio-visual, and electronic materials.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Supervision
    • Supervise and guide other graphic designers or graphic arts technicians to ensure high-quality output.
  • Project Management
    • Estimate time and resources required to complete graphic design and illustration projects.
    • Co-ordinate all aspects of production, including sub-contracting and vendor management.
  • Client Communication
    • Consult with clients to determine their communications needs and objectives.
    • Develop and produce realistic or representational sketches and final illustrations that meet client expectations.
  • Design and Development
    • Develop the graphic elements that meet client objectives, including typography, color schemes, and visual effects.
    • Prepare sketches, layouts, and graphic elements for review and approval.
  • Technical Skills
    • Proficient in Adobe Suite, including Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.
    • Experience with MS Office, including PowerPoint and Word.
    • Familiarity with HTML, XHTML, and WordPress.
Requirements
  • Education
    • College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
  • Experience
    • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
  • Security and Safety
    • Criminal record check required.
  • Work Environment
    • Temporary work term.
    • 30 hours per week.
    • English language required.
