**Job Title:** Elementary Long Term Occasional Educator

**Job Summary:** We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Elementary Long Term Occasional Educator to join our team at the York Region District School Board. As an Elementary Long Term Occasional Educator, you will be responsible for providing high-quality instruction and support to students in a elementary setting.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that meet the diverse needs of students
  • Assess student progress and adjust instruction accordingly
  • Build positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues
  • Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching practices
  • Collaborate with other educators to develop and implement curriculum

**Requirements:**

  • Ontario College of Teachers (OCT) certification
  • Strong knowledge of elementary curriculum and pedagogy
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
