Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at 2204774 Ontario Inc. As a Food Service Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service establishment, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and that our food meets the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and Co-ordinate Activities

Supervise and co-ordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.

Train and Develop Staff

Train staff in job duties, sanitation and safety procedures, and provide ongoing support and guidance to ensure that they have the skills and knowledge needed to perform their roles.

Manage Inventory and Supplies

Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation, and maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.

Ensure Quality Control

Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, and address any customer complaints or concerns in a professional and timely manner.

Lead by Example

Lead by example, demonstrating a strong commitment to customer service, quality, and safety, and promoting a positive and inclusive work environment.

Requirements
  • Education

Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.

Work Experience

1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service establishment, preferably in a supervisory role.

Skills and Abilities

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with staff, customers, and vendors.

Physical Demands

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking, and to stand for extended periods.
