Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at 2204774 Ontario Inc. As a key member of our restaurant operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily activities of our food service staff, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and that our food quality meets the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and Co-ordinate Activities

Supervise and co-ordinate the activities of our food service staff, including food preparation, portioning, and presentation.

Train and Develop Staff

Train and develop our food service staff in job duties, sanitation and safety procedures, and customer service skills.

Estimate and Manage Inventory

Estimate and manage inventory of ingredients and supplies required for meal preparation, ensuring that we have the necessary stock to meet customer demand.

Lead by Example

Lead by example, demonstrating a commitment to exceptional customer service, food quality, and teamwork.

Maintain Records and Reports

Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, and prepare and submit reports as required.

Requirements
  • Education

Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.

Work Experience

1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service establishment, coffee shop, or restaurant.

Work Setting

Fast-paced environment, working under pressure, and meeting tight deadlines.

Physical Capabilities

Combination of sitting, standing, and walking, with standing for extended periods.

Personal Suitability

Client focus, efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral communication, flexibility, and a team player attitude.
