Your Contribution

As a Water Resources Engineering Intern, you will collaborate closely with our team.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting with general project engineering tasks under the guidance of a Professional Engineer or Professional Technologist.
  • Developing and analyzing hydrology and hydraulic models.
  • Preparing technical reports, design drawings, specifications, and contract documents.
  • Supporting construction administration and providing general oversight during construction.
  • Engaging with clients to ensure their project goals are achieved.
  • Promoting and adhering to GSI Environnement's health and safety protocols.

Your Profile

  • Pursuing a degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering from an accredited institution, with a focus on water resources and familiarity with design software such as HEC-RAS and HEC-HMS; knowledge of AutoCAD, Civil3D, and GIS is an additional asset.
  • Registered or eligible for registration with the appropriate professional engineering body.
  • Demonstrated understanding of general construction methods.
  • Possession of a Class G Driver's License and a personal vehicle for travel to project sites.
  • Self-motivated with strong leadership, project management, and client relations skills; excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Exhibited sensitivity and commitment to occupational health and safety practices.
